Brainy Fat Boy was founded in 2019. I explore the disappearing element of empathy from humankind through ironically colourful expressions. Why Brainy Fat Boy?
Many years ago, when my youngest son was three, we were chatting and he just came out with "you're just a brain fat boy, dad!" I really liked it and I have used it in different things ever since (he's on the verge of being twelve as I type this) My real name is Paul, and I live in the North of England. I have recently come back to painting after many years of absence. It has been a journey of necessity rather than desire - I need a creative outlet. For many years I found photography gave me that 'fix' but for some reason, I find I no longer get the satisfaction that I used to.
So here I am!
I'm not the best artist out there but I'm not the worst and the pictures I paint come from a place of passion and necessity. I need a creative outlet. I am pursuing many creative avenues right now and this is one that I am hoping to monetize in order to help me finance the other projects I'm currently involved in.
